Size: A3 paper size 36.5cm x 45cm
100% organic indigo cotton tote bags made in Laos. The indigo colour has been hand-dyed with organic indigo dye and later screen printed on manually at our very own F a u v e Studio. Tote bag colours differ from lighter shades of indigo to darker as they are hand dyed which make each bag very unique and one of a kind.
Tiger symbolism stands for strength and fearlessness. In many cultures, as well as religions like Hinduism and Buddhism, tigers are vehicles of various deities. Psychologically, these majestic beasts represent your fear or something that scares you. In French, Fauve, our brand name also means a wildcat (tiger) or beast, one of the reasons why we decided to design a tiger as our trademark logo as well as this specific design for this tote bag.
Ever since the pandemic started I think the virus has instigated some sort of fear and anxiety for the future within everyone. Through these past years, in one way or another, many of us have learnt to face these fears instead of run away from them, whatever small scale or large scale that fear may be.
Hence why F a u v e has designed these tiger totes, when you look at at tiger first glance, they may look scary but once you see them in their environment, in nature they don’t seem like such scary animals. Who knows maybe you can be friends with the Tiger after all!
Warning: The rubbing or wetting the cloth may cause the indigo colour to fade off or rub on to other clothes. Over time, the indigo will naturally harden and will slowly stop to fade.
